these were taken back in the summer, but i just love them so much! looking at these pictures make me smile, because they both have so much personality, and such great smiles!

my seventeenth birthday! ;]

november 19, seventeen years ago today, my mom was about 60 pounds heavier than she is now. seventeen years ago today, my dad's mustache wasn't so white, and seventeen years ago, the world was not near as diva-licious as it is now! :) 
my step-dad ron always put up my birthday sign on display in the front yard :) every year! 

the tradition has been set, that savy spends the night the night before and we stay up til mid-night! this is my LAST picture as a 16 year old! FINALLY!

tonight my family, my lovey jon, the best friend savannah, and I all went to olive garden. party of 12, we've arrived! 

i have.. THE BEST (and cutest) nephew in the world! this precious little cuppy cake is Easton Garrett. he is the happiest little thing i've ever laid eyes on! 

meet Margaret, we are best friends! she is technically my 93 year old "Nanny", but i prefer the term "the other pea to the pod", my napping partner, "trouble makers", or most commonly.. my best friend. you will never find anyone like her!

looking over this post, i realize how lucky i really am. thank you Jesus for my wonderful family, and the beautiful, real people am surrounded by!
